NoteLink data can exist in several locations. Complete the steps for each location you want to address. These actions are separate and do not automatically perform one another.
1. Revoke Google account access
- Open your Google Account’s third-party connections page.
- Find NoteLink or its J-Esprisoft Google connection.
- Review the connection and choose the option to remove access.
Revocation stops future authorized access after credentials expire or are invalidated. It does not delete files already stored in your Google Drive.
2. Delete files from Google Drive
Use Google Drive to locate the NoteLink vault or individual files you control, then move only the intended items to Trash. Drive Trash is separate from NoteLink and may retain files until you empty it or Google removes them under its retention behavior. You can usually restore items while they remain in Trash.
Back up important Markdown files and attachments before deleting them. Do not delete recovery material until you have confirmed that pending work is safe.
3. Clear data from your Android device
Android labels vary by device. Typically, open Settings → Apps → NoteLink → Storage & cache, then choose Clear storage or Clear data. Uninstalling the app generally removes its app-private local data as well.
Clearing storage or uninstalling can remove cached files, preferences, sign-in state, and pending recovery records from that device. It does not delete your Google Drive files or necessarily revoke Google account access. Export or resolve recoverable work first.
The current beta does not provide a finished single in-app action that both disconnects Drive and removes all local data, so these system and account steps remain separate.
4. Request deletion of support records
Email [email protected] from the address used for support. Include the approximate dates and subject lines of the conversations you want us to identify.
Do not send note contents, filenames or paths, Drive IDs, OAuth tokens, credentials, or recovery archives by default. We may need to retain limited records where required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or documenting that a request was completed.
